• Club volleyball is an opportunity to play volleyball outside of high school or middle school-sponsored activities, and offers an athlete the chance to play almost year-round. New Era will participate in 8 weekend tournaments in which our teams will compete against other club teams in the Central TX and surrounding areas. Club volleyball is one of the easiest ways to give an athlete the advantage on the court whether it’s access to different coaching styles, playing against different skill level teams, or learning from their fellow teammates.

  • Tryouts consist of a single 3-hour session in which athletes will be tested on the skills related to the position for which they intend to tryout for. Additionally, every player will have the chance to showcase other skills such as footwork, communication, and sportsmanship.

If your athlete is chosen to make a New Era team, you will receive a letter at the end of tryouts, or a call that night. Players and families have 24 hours from that moment to register for the club season.
